### Respiratory Protection

## ⚠️ Decontamination Procedures

### Personnel Decontamination

1. **Immediate Decon (Self/Buddy)**:
   - Remove gross contamination
   - Use M291/M295 decon kits
   - 2-3 minutes per person

2. **Operational Decon**:
   - Rapid rinse/wipedown
   - 0.5% hypochlorite solution
   - 5-10 minutes per person

3. **Thorough Decon**:
   - Full wash/rinse cycle
   - Soap, water, 0.5% bleach
   - 20-30 minutes per person

- **Weathering**: Natural degradation (time, sunlight, rain)
- **Covering**: Physical barrier over contaminated area
- **Removal**: Excavation and disposal of contaminated material
