Civil spaceflight is graduating from one-off charters to recurring passenger operations. The standard covers the whole passenger journey: medical eligibility, training records, suit and seat fit, on-orbit duty roster, emergency egress drills, and post-flight debriefing. A WIA-SPACE-014 conformant operator can hand its passenger manifest to any partner operator and have the data interpreted unambiguously, including across language barriers. The same data shape is read by ground rescue teams, insurance carriers and regulators.
